Roman Shaikhutdinov visits Hong Kong Science and Technology Park

On April 17 Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov visited Hong Kong Science and Technology Park with Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Opportunities and prospects of Hong Kong Science and Technology Park were presented to Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. Vice-President of Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Mr Ben Lui answered questions of Tatarstan delegation.
Hong Kong Science and Technology Park was founded in 2001. The Technology Park is located on the area of 22 hectares that includes business infrastructure, 330, 000 m ² of premises meant for research work, and 26 high technology buildings. The third construction stage is to be finished in 2016.
Among residents of Technology Park are companies working in the sphere of biotechnologies, electronics, green technologies, IT and communication, and precision engineering. Offices, laboratories and exhibition premises are provided on an hourly basis and for the period of project implementation. The area of 400 -1200 m ² is offered for small and medium-size companies. Sales points, food courts, bars and a club for residents and guests are located on the territory of Technology Park.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
