Tatarstan President was told about development of Naberezhnye Chelny IT park

On April 14 Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov reported on development of Naberezhnye Chelny IT park to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Roman Shaikhutdinov told that the second high technology park IT park started working on August 25, 2012. 47 residents worked there at that time. In December 2013 the number of residents made 86, in April 2014 – 91. More than 1,3 thousand specialists work at Naberezhnye Chelny IT park today. Their average age is 27.
“IT park actively cooperates with enterprises of Kama innovative territorial production cluster. Cooperation started from a joint project with OAO KAMAZ on integration of company’s IT infrastructure with Data centre. Thus, KAMAZ received fault-tolerant IT infrastructure with full reservation and opportunity to reduce capital expenses. The second stage of this project was creation of KAMAZ IT subsidiary and its location in IT park. Finally, the implemented project demonstrated that cooperation of IT park with enterprises yields powerful synergy and economic effect. This experience can be promoted at other Tatarstan enterprises.
Tatarstan President was also told about construction of rental housing for employees of Naberezhnye Chelny IT.

On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
