Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication to take part in Earth Hour campaign

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication will support Earth Hour campaign carried out by World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
On March 29, from 20:30 to 21:30, all organisations subordinate to the ministry will switch off emergency lighting of administrative buildings, and electric devices that are not connected with ensuring people’s life safety.
Everyone willing to join us can switch off lightning in rooms, building illumination, computers, neon commercial signs, TV and desk lamps. Event organisers do not recommend switching off street lamps, and lightning that provides safety in public places, navigational lights, traffic lights, security lightning and signaling.
According to Tatarstan Ministry of Ecology, more than 200 organisations took part in the campaign last year, helping to save 1.5 million kWh.
Earth Hour is held every year on the last Saturday of March to attract people’s attention to the problem of environmental pollution.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
