Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication to organize open data hackathon

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication will organize open data hackathon for programmers and contests for designers and journalists to promote applied open data solutions.
Open data is the information posted on the Internet in such a format that enables its automated processing without preliminary changes made by people, and that can be re-used.
For now, the portal “Open Tatarstan” has been launched. It includes “Public expertize”, “Public control”, and “Public discussion of state purchases” sections.
Open data are also to be used for developing sections “Open budget”, and “Deputies”.
According to the US and Great Britain experience, open data helps developers to create new convenient online services for citizens, and the government - to support development of IT business, and improve public control tools.
At the first stage Russia has published 5, 000 data sets on federal and regional levels.
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.
The event will take place on: April, 18 at 2:00 p.m.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
