Kazan IT park has become the member of International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation

The mission of International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation is creation of a global network that unites technoparks and innovative centres to favour their development. Currently there are 270 members and 128, 000 companies within the organisation. Among them are Mjärdevi Science Park (Sweden), The Research Triangle Park (USA), TusPark (China), and Skolkovo (Russia).
IASP provides wide opportunities for cooperation to its members, access to information on creation and management of technoparks, incubators and innovative centres. IASP membership also helps building international awareness of technoparks due to online services. International conferences organized by the association attract sponsors, investors and major corporations searching for innovative solutions for their business.
Besides, IASP conducts research and collects statistical data available for all members of the association.
Peer-to-Peer services enables getting high-quality analysis of projects and recommendations from IASP experts.
It should be noted that IASP membership provides advantages for technoaprks and its residents that can present their solutions and technologies to prospective customers.
The decision of IASP Executive committee about IT park membership in International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation will be approved at IASP General Assembly that will be held in Doha (Qatar) in October 2014.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
Such meetings between the minister and representatives of the IT community are held on Fridays in an open dialogue format. These personal meetings provide an opportunity for companies to share their experiences, discuss their projects and seek support.
