Direct investments in Tatarstan made 408 mln dollars

The amount of foreign investments in Tatarstan increased by 22 per cent and made 894 mln US dollars in 2013. Such information was presented at II international winter forum Invest in Tatarstan (March 5-6). 450 people from 16 countries and 11 Russian regions are taking part in the event.
Major projects meant for attracting investments, Innopolis and Smart City Kazan, aimed at creation of special economic zones, were presented at the forum.
According to Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, direct investments made 408 mln US dollars against 577 mln US dollars in 2012. Global economic situation affected the decrease in inflow of direct investments.
Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
Tatarstan residents have increased their phone communication by one-third. According to MegaFon, in March 2025, the average person talked on the phone for 4 hours and 49 minutes per month. This year, the average call time has risen to 6 hours and 20 minutes.
