The number of IT companies that address Russian Ministry of Communication and Mass Media for benefits increased three times

Russian Minister of Communication and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov signed the order on state accreditation of 190 IT companies. They have an opportunity to pay 14 per cent of insurance fees instead of 30.
To the point, on December 30, 2013 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law “On introduction of amendments to article 57 of the Federal law №428 “On insurance fees to Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, Social Insurance Fund, and Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund”.
According to the law, the number of employees of IT companies seeking for benefits decreased from 30 to 7 people.
In the first half of 2014 180 companies addressed Russian Ministry of Communication and Mass Media for accreditation. In the second half of the year the number of companies considerably increased and made 247.

Speaking at the weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, Head of the management of Tatarstan Post Ilnur Makhmutov said that in 2025, employees of the federal postal service management "Tatarstan Post" delivered 55 million letters and 16 million newspapers.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
