Schoolchildren and students of Tatarstan invited to the cyber tournament «Unknown war»

Registration for participants of the cyber tournament “Unknown War”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II is open. The tournament is organized by the Association of Information Security Leaders and the All-Russian mentoring movement Mentors of Russia.

Participants can register via the provided link until April 15. The competition will take place from 8:00 AM on April 18 until 8:00 AM on April 19. A connection link for joining the tournament will be sent one day prior to the event.

Schoolchildren and university students aged 14 to 23 are eligible to participate. Teams may consist of one to five members and the number of teams from a single educational institution is not limited.

During the tournament, participants will explore historical classified materials, learn new problem-solving approaches, develop skills in information security and gain insight into the great feats, heroes and key events of the war years. The gaming platform will be available for 24 hours, allowing participants to choose when to start completing tasks and when to take breaks. On average, a well-prepared team requires 4–5 hours to complete the challenges.

The results of the competition will be announced on April 24. Winners and prize winners will receive diplomas, trophies and awards. Teachers and team mentors will be presented with letters of appreciation, while all other teams will receive e-certificates of participation.

The project is implemented with the support of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Russian Dream movement, the Vulkan Research and Technology Center, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, and the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.
