Female residents of Tatarstan generate 1.5 times more mobile traffic than men
According to Letay operator, women living in Tatarstan were more active in using mobile communication in 2025 compared to men. Despite having more male subscribers, female residents of the republic communicated 1.5 times more via phone and social networks.
Residents often actively use mobile services in large shopping malls. On weekends, the amount of consumed data increases by 15%. "Letay" has upgraded the telecom infrastructure at the Art Center shopping mall, allowing visitors to enjoy a more comfortable leisure and shopping experience. Earlier, telecom enhancements were carried out at Koltso shopping mall and Tandem.
Work to strengthen the network continues in Tatarstan. In February this year, more than 40 base stations were optimized in Almetyevsk. The company also upgraded several sites in Naberezhnye Chelny, Bavlinsky, Nurlatsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Rybno-Slobodsky and Muslyumovsky regions of the republic. As a result, the average mobile internet speed locally increased by 30–50%.
With each passing year, the load on the telecom network increases, and subscriber data traffic grows. Infrastructure modernization helps improve the comfort level for residents of Tatarstan and provides access to digital services.
