On December 2, the IT-park hosted second day of Russian Startup Week (RSW), which focused on strategic planning and presenting the work of young technology teams and included a strategic thinking training session, a business analysis session, and a final pitch by graduates of the Youth Business Incubator "Site 52".
At the "Strategic literacy campaign" training session with IT expert Anvar Tuykin, participants explored the intricacies of developing efficient business strategies, learned about the differences between a true strategy and formal planning, and received practical algorithms for turning strategic documents into tangible development tools. Next, at the "Business Analysis: Startups and Growing Businesses" meeting, featuring Dinar Mingazov and Ilham Ilyasov, participants analyzed real-life cases and received recommendations for projects at various stages of development, including issues of scaling a business through marketing and resource constraints.
The highlight of the day was the final pitch session at "Site 52"—the IT Park Center for Youth Technological Entrepreneurship. Young teams, who had completed a year-long development journey from idea to MVP (minimum viable product), presented their work to experts and potential investors.
"The graduation of the first cohort of Site 52 residents is an important event for our residents and for the IT Park Startup Development Ecosystem as a whole. Today, we evaluated not only the startups' performance but also the efficiency of the four-stage model we launched at the end of 2024," Head of the IT Park Center for Youth Technological Entrepreneurship Karim Gilmutdinov said. "Over the course of the year, we held dozens of tracking sessions and educational programs with the teams. As a result, most of the projects achieved their goals: they created an MVP, validated their hypotheses, and some have already made their first sales. The best teams will move on to the next stage—the IT Park business incubator, where they will receive additional opportunities for growth."
The four-stage startup development model implemented at IT Park includes sequential stages of support for technology teams:
1. Site 52: support for student startups from concept to MVP;
2. A business incubator, operating since 2011: working with projects at the MVP stage;
3. A startup hub: supporting projects that have received initial investment and are entering the scaling stage. In 2025, two new clusters—GameDev and the AI cluster—are actively developing here;
4. Residency in the format of a large IT company.
Russian Startup Week will continue until December 5. Participants can look forward to the International Championship "Best Digital Technologist RTSIM - 2025," a presentation of solutions from Yandex, a mini-hackathon from TON CIS HUB, and the winter selection of startups for the IT Park.
