On November 1, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin and IT Park Director Ruslan Vlasov paid a working visit to Zelenodolsk. They looked around the site of the future IT park and learned about local production facilities.
The Zelenodolsk IT Park will be located in the centre of the new city and will develop IT education, robotics and IT development. The project is aimed at attracting companies not only from Tatarstan but also from neighboring regions.
They also attended the production facilities of RUNNLINE+, a company with 19 years of experience in manufacturing electronic printed circuit boards and software development. The company is a prime example of a local manufacturer whose products successfully compete not only in the Russian but also international markets.
The final stop on the programme was a visit to the Iskra-Volga Technopark. The 42,000 square meter facility houses production facilities employing approximately 1,000 people. The delegation visited several technology park residents:
• E-PROM (charging stations for electric vehicles and buses);
• SKAT (high-voltage cable accessories);
• Promenergo (smart energy meters);
• ElectroOptima (electrical equipment);
• Accredited Testing Center for Electrical Products;
• Aruna (architectural lighting solutions).
Exploring Tatarstan's technical and IT potential is important not only for economic reasons but also for strategic planning of digital expansion. That's why the digital team is researching and supporting local companies.
