Online voting at the State Services Portal starts: we choose which rural branches of the Russian Post to modernize first
Every day, millions of Russians visit about 38,000 post offices, with more than 26,000 located in rural areas and hard-to-reach areas. Many of these branches need to improve their conditions. Since 2022, on the errand from the President of the Russian Federation, a project to modernize such branches has been implemented under the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State".
Who can participate in the vote?
Russian citizens over 18 old with a verified account on Gosuslugi (State Services Portal).
Voting conditions:
• You can vote only once;
• Only one post office is selected;
• The branch should be located in the region of your permanent registration.
How to vote?
More than 17,000 Russian Post branches are available in 81 regions of the Russian Federation. If your branch is not on the list, it has probably already been renovated or is in satisfactory condition.
The branches that receive the most votes will be included in the list for priority capital repairs until 2030.
The voting will last until March 24, 2025.
