Without any fuss: T2 brings the quality of calls in Tatarstan to a new level
T2, a Russian mobile operator, has completed the implementation of VoLTE technology for customers in Tatarstan. The service provides instant connection with the interlocutor over the 4G (LTE) network, high voice quality and the absence of extraneous noise, which meets the high communication standards provided by the national project "Digital Economy". VoLTE (Voice over LTE) technology offers subscribers a number of advantages: voice transmission in HD quality, instant connection and battery saving. The technical solution also minimizes the risk of unplanned session interruption.
The technology allows voice calls to be transmitted over the LTE network and at the same time provides a continuous connection to high-speed Internet - the client can talk on the phone without stopping the current session or distributing the Internet in modem mode. Calls are charged as regular voice traffic. When making calls with VoLTE, the battery life is slower, since the phone does not need to switch to the 2G/3G standard. In Tatarstan, VoLTE technology is available on more than 500 models of mobile devices from the largest manufacturers of subscriber equipment - from the usual Samsung and Xiaomi to relatively new to the market Oppo and Infinix.
