Artificial intelligence to communicate with visitors of IT parks in Tatarstan

25 July 2024, Thursday

Tatarstan has become the first region in Russia to launch a new generation of video analytics with voice control.

The NtechLab’s AI-based solution will monitor order in IT parks not only by detecting violations, but also by addressing visitors. Earlier, at the SPIEF, NtechLab and the Government of Tatarstan signed an agreement on the implementation of AI-based solutions in the region. Three IT parks were selected as pilot sites: two in Kazan and one in Naberezhnye Chelny. The first function to be tested is monitoring smoking in unauthorized places. Artificial intelligence, using machine vision, sees a smoker and asks the violator to stop smoking – similar to popular voice assistants, the AI generates different types of requests.
