Tele2, the Russian mobile operator, analyzed 64 small settlements of Tatarstan, where mobile communication and internet Tele2 appeared in the past year. The company analyzed the volume of voice and internet traffic consumption in villages and towns with a population of 100 to 500 people. Communication and mobile internet in these localities appeared in 2023 under the NOC 2.0 programme. According to the operator, the village of Maly Tolkish in the Chistopolsky region turned out to be the most downloadable. In a month, rural people spend over 43 GB of traffic per active internet user. The second among the most Internet-active villages was Vishnevaya Polyana in the Nurlatsky region, where there are 42 GB of traffic per subscriber. The village of Chaksy in the Mamadyshsky region was also among the top three leaders in mobile Internet consumption, where they download 37.7 GB monthly.
