An antenna-mast communication structure installed on the M-12 highway
On December 18, an antenna-mast communication structure was installed on the M-12 Vostok federal highway. The facility was installed and managed by the Service-Telecom group of companies, an independent infrastructure operator for communication companies.
Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin, Deputy Minister of Digitalization of the republic Albert Yakovlev, and representatives of telecom operators operating in the republic took part in the installing of the communication tower. In total, 176 antenna-mast structures will be installed on the M-12 expressway, including 29 to be installed in Tatarstan along M-12. Antenna mast structures are used to accommodate mobile telecommunications equipment. In the near future, telecom operators will deploy their equipment to provide communications to the new highway. It is expected that such telecom operators as VimpelCom, MegaFon, MTS, T2 Mobile Telecommunication companies will install base stations along M-12 in Tatarstan.
