Dmitry Savenkov took part in the launching of the 4G standard base station in the village of Serda in Saby region of Tatarstan under the federal programme «Bridging of the digital gap».
During the implementation of the second phase of the project «Bridging of the digital gap», in the past and at the beginning of this year Rostelecom Telecommunication Company has built 43 base stations of mobile communication in different regions of the republic. Another 55 base stations will be operational by the end of 2023. About 15,000 people living in sparsely populated areas of Tatarstan have already been provided with modern mobile services and mobile Internet access through the programme.
