Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin opens the renovated branch of the Russian Post
On November 24, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin, the head of the Saby municipal region Rais Minnikhanov, and the director of the Federal Postal Service "Tatarstan Pochtasy" Ilnur Makhmutov took part in a solemn ceremony of opening the renovated branch of the Russian Post in the Saby region of Tatarstan. It was included in the programme of the modernization of rural branches held on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin and with the support of the United Russia party. The guests sent greeting cards for Mother's Day, which is celebrated annually in our country on the last Sunday of November. The post office of the village of Shemordan serves more than 6,000 residents of the village, including almost 700 pensioners. The building was renovated, and relevant services for residents of small settlements appeared here.

The Federal Postal Service carried out major overhauls of 15 rural post offices in 2022, and 32 in the current year. Modernization work will continue in 2024-2025. "Tatarstan Pochtasy" plans to renovate more than 100 rural branches.
