On September 26, the Bashir Rameev IT-park hosted the ceremony of handing in the grants of Tatarstan Government to students of the first year of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of the Kazan Federal University.
As many as 30 students of the 1st year received grants for training in the information technology. In 2023, the amount of the first year of study amounted to 189,960 roubles. Grantees are geographically dispersed across regions: Kazan -11 people, Tatarstan - 8 people, Bashkortostan - 3 people, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - 2 people, Samara region - 2 people. Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug - 1 person, Mari El - 1 person. Chuvashia - 1 person, Mariupol - 1 person.
Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin handed in the grants to students. Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation and Innovation of KFU Dmitry Pashin, Director of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of KFU Mikhail Abramsky also attended the event.
“The grant system is aimed at supporting talented students of IS-profile, retention of the best staff in the republic. We pay much attention to this issue, because the main point of growth of the industry is people, enthusiastic professionals who will competently solve important tasks for the republic. The students, who received study grants, showed their knowledge and strengths even before the student bench.
