Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin meets the start-up manufacturer of the e-vehicle “Atom”
On March 6, in the IT park in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin and People’s Deputy of the State Duma Aydar Metshin held a working meeting with the Kama company. Representatives of the company informed the guests about the current work and plans.
The first car of the Russian company "Kama" will be called "Atom" and will be equipped with an e-power plant. It is expected that the functional prototypes of Atom will be presented in the third quarter of 2023, but sales of the novelty will begin a little later - approximately in 2025. The Atom team employs more than 400 engineers, designers and IT developers with experience in implementing major projects in Russia, China, Europe and the USA. The head office of the company is located in Naberezhnye Chelny. There are also offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tolyatti and Nanjing (China).
