At the State Services portal, students of grades 8-11 can apply for free two-year programming courses. The training is carried out under the "Code of the Future" project, which is organized under the auspices of the federal project "Development of IT Industry Human Resources Potential" of the national project "Digital Economy". The operator of the educational project is University 2035.
The courses are aimed at learning modern programming languages. Students will be able not only to gain in-depth knowledge and skills in programming, which will be useful for preparing for the basic state examination and the Unified State Examination, participation in the Olympics and hackathons, but also to decide on the choice of the future profession. In 2021-2022, under the pilot project, free online programming courses have already passed more than 10,000 schoolchildren from 10 regions of Russia», Deputy Head of Russian Ministry of Digital Development Nikolay Yatselenko said. The courses last 2 years and include 4 training modules lasting 144 academic hours. At the end of the training, participants will receive a certificate.
