On April 7, at the IT Park in Kazan, the stage of the All-Russian Startup Tour organized by the Foundation «Skolkovo» will be held. As many as 97 applications from all over the country were submitted for the contest. The winner of the grand final will receive a prize of 300,00 roubles and the opportunity to introduce the project at Startup Village.
The largest in Russia contest of technological start-ups will be held for the fifth time in Tatarstan. This year, innovators compete in three tracks. The most popular became «Information Technologies» - 47 applications, «Industrial and energy technologies» with 37 applications ranked second and «Biotechnology in medicine and agriculture» with 13 applications ranked third.
This year, applications for participation have been received from more than 10 Russian regions and even Uzbekistan. As a result of the expert selection, 15 projects went to the semi-finals of the contest, five in each track. The Startup Tour 2022 programme will include a panel discussion of the Open Innovations Startup Tour, a virtual exhibition of companies, an educational part and a competition in which projects will be evaluated by recognized experts in the area of technology and business development. Open Innovations Startup Tour panel participants will discuss the development of technological entrepreneurship and the innovative ecosystem of the region.
