Tatarstan President declares 2022 the Year of Digitization in the republic
On October 8, at the 25th meeting of the regional State Council of the sixth convocation, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov delivered his annual address to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In his address to the people’s deputies, Minnikhanov emphasized that the world is changing rapidly and large-scale digital transformations are taking place. These transformations concern every person, family, profession, every organization and enterprise, all branches of the economy and social sphere.
Much has already been done and is being done in the republic in this area: IT centers and world-class educational institutions have been created, e-services are actively used and major IT companies are successfully developing.
Another step in this direction will be the establishment of the IT District in the centre of Kazan.
Attaching great importance to the role of IT technologies in improving the quality of life, next year is declared the Year of Digitization in the republic.
