On September 1, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin opened a celebratory assembly at the International Competence Centre - Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications.
Today Kazan Technical College is a federal innovation platform and a leader in secondary vocational education in Russia.
The college provides training in 9 specialties. This year, over 1,500 applications were submitted for training, the competition for individual specialties amounted to up to 5 people to one place.
As many as 425 students from 17 regions of Russia and 4 neighboring countries - Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan went to the technical school.
For several years, students of the college actively participate in international championships. And this year they once again took prize places in the final of the National Championship "Young Professionals". Khayrullin congratulated the students on the first place in the competencies: "Information cable networks", "Information cable networks Juniors", "Mobile robotics" and "Mobile robotics of Juniors", and on the second place in the competencies: "Graphic design", "Development of mobile applications", "Cloud technologies", "Cybersecurity" and "Video production".
“Education is the very solid foundation on which the well-being of the country is built. Further development of digital services is possible only in close connection with education and science. Together with you, we will build a new digital future,” he addressed the students of the technical college. The minister wished the students great success in the new school year, high spirits and health, true friendship and joy of discovery.
