On June 11, at the National Library of Tatarstan, an in-person forum of voters "My Vote" with the topic meeting “Elections 2021: A Course on Voter Convenience” was held. The forum was also broadcast online on the YouTube channel of the Central Election Commission of Tatarstan.

The invited experts of the forum were:

• Alexander Malkevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Information Society, Mass Media and Mass Communications, Head of the Working Group on Public Monitoring of Remote Electronic Voting, Director General of the Saint Petersburg TV Channel;

• Andrey Tsepelev, Head of the Dialogue Competence Development Centre;

• Ayrat Khayrullin, Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan;

• Andrey Kondratyev, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the republic;

• Vladimir Kutilov, co-founder of the Association of Internet Technologists, member of the Russian Public Relations Association, moderator of the Volga expert club;

• Kamilla Khafizova, blogger.

People’s deputy of the State Duma of Russia Oleg Morozov was the moderator.

The key issues of the meeting were the implementation of innovative technologies in the electoral process: online voting, etc. Experts and forum participants, as well as remote participants, discussed how everyday forms of communication with voters are changing today.

Khayrullin emphasized that universal digitization strongly affects the electoral system, which is traditionally considered one of the most conservative social industries. Mass transition to «digit» and online-communication helps to make elections convenient and comfortable for residents, and the process more objective.
