Ayrat Khayrullin speaks on digitalization at a meeting at the State Council of Tatarstan
On February 4, speaking at Tatarstan State Council at a meeting with participation of Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Chairman of the republic Tatyana Larionova and other people’s deputies, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin informed about the key processes of digital transformation of the republic.
In his welcoming speech, the Head of the Digital Agency introduced main indicators of the digital development of Tatarstan. In particular, he explained what «digital transformation» concept means and includes, what ways it can be carried out, and what are the differences between automation and digital transformation.
During the meeting, Khayrullin informed about the development of the IT industry in the republic, issues of proactive provision of state and municipal services, the work of Tatarstan State Services Portal, the provision of high-speed Internet in the regions of the republic, etc. The minister also presented the programmes to support Tatarstan IT companies "KITyk", “Become an Online Entrepreneur" planned for implementation and informed about the projects of the Digital Transformation Centre and the results of the research on the level of digital maturity of the republic.
