On November 19, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin reported on the digital development programmes of the republic planned for 2021.
The main issue of the last meeting was the development of a Comprehensive Action Plan for the implementation of the Address of Tatarstan President to the State Council. In particular, the issues of the development of the IT industry, economic, social and industrial spheres of the republic were discussed.
In his report, Khayrullin briefed about the main "digital" indicators of Tatarstan. Thus, almost 9,000 budgetary institutions of the republic have already been connected to the unified data network, and by 2021 it is planned to additionally connect over 2,200 socially significant facilities to high-speed Internet. These programmes help solve the problem of the digital gap in Tatarstan.
According to the Minister, the active work on transferring state and municipal services to digital and e-form is underway in the republic. Seven services have been fully transferred into digital form, and 21 services are provided in e-form. In 2020-2021, it is planned to digitize another 59 services.
Khayrullin also informed about the work of Multifunctional centres, the launch of new digital platforms “My subsidies” and construction assistance platforms, the modernization of the Portal of State Services and other important issues.
At the end of the report, Tatarstan Minister introduced projects planned for implementation in 2021: a digital medical platform, the "Safe Tatarstan" project, etc.
