Tatarstan citizens aged 50+ can learn IT competencies for free

International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications continues to train the citizens of pre-retirement age on digital competencies. In 2019, as many as 353 residents of the republic received new knowledge and skills in IT technologies.

Free training of citizens aged 50+ is a part of the federal project “The Older Generation”. Since the beginning of 2020, as many as 161 people have already attended the educational programme. In total, by the end of this year 300 Tatarstan citizens will be trained in new competencies.

Certified WorldSkills experts train aged students at the college. The following directions are most popular among students:

• "Mobile Robotics";

• “Video Production”;

• "Web Design and Development";

• "Graphic design";

• "Software solutions for business."

After completion of training, all students are issued state-certified advanced training certificates.
