Project on training civil servants on data work becomes the finalist of the Excellence in Practice Award

As many as 2,150 people were trained under the CDO (Chief Data Officer - Data-Based Management) programme at Innopolis University. The programme became the finalist in the category "Executive Development Management". The Excellence in Practice Award of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) is awarded for partner educational projects for training future and current leaders, developing training ecosystems and corporate culture. The jury consists of managers, programme directors and managers from educational organizations from 18 countries of Europe, Asia and North America.

At the end of 2019, Innopolis University trained 2150 Russian civil servants under the programme “CDO (Chief Data Officer) - data-based management” of "Personnel for the Digital Economy" federal project. At the initiative of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, as many as 79 deputy ministers and municipal leaders of the republic underwent the CDTO - Digital Transformation Manager programme at the university. According to the results of the training, Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan made an order to establish a working group on the implementation of digital transformation projects in the republic. The working group included 40 people.
