Waiting lines on a first-come-first-served basis to disappear at Civil Registry Office

The electronic digital signature will release future newly married couples from early submission of applications to the Civil Registry Office. Such information was given by acting chief of the Department of Civil Registry Office of the RT Cabinet Boris Khafizov.

Republican citizens actively use the single portal of state and municipal services, in particular, the service of booking time and place for marriage registration. He mentioned that this service also enabled registering a written application.

Some alterations were made in the Federal Law about acts of civil status this year. If an application is submitted via the federal portal of state and municipal services using the electronic digital signature, the document is equal to a written application. Thus, future newly married couples can save time.
“We closely interact with the Ministry of informatization and communications on this issue,” he said.
