Ayrat Khayrullin: Data is the second oil

On March 17, in the Government House of the republic, at a meeting on the implementation of the Digital Economy national project, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin said: “The digital region is not only a digital government and a digital state. We should also help our sectors of the economy to digitalize, because this is an issue of our competitiveness”. Khayrullin also added that today the data is the second oil. It is necessary to find as many non-resource potentials for development as possible in the current market situation.

Today, the Digital Technologies project is being implemented in Tatarstan.
