50 000 Tatarstan conscripts received free mobile phones with preferential tariff “Defender of the Motherland”

MTS mobile company presents mobile phones with a preferential tariff “Defender of the Motherland” developed in cooperation with the Russian Ministry of defence and Tatarstan Government to every conscript from Tatarstan.
“The project aimed at providing mobile phones and free services to military personnel is unique for the whole country. Our goal is to provide comfortable conditions for passing military service by Tatarstan conscripts,” Deputy PM and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov said.
“MTS intensively cooperates with the Tatarstan Government under the projects aimed at providing communication services to population. For six years we’ve been rendering free high-quality mobile services to military personnel, and we hope that we’ve made military service for republican citizens more comfortable,” MTS Director in Tatarstan Marat Shakirov said.
The long-term agreement between MTS and the Tatarstan Government on cooperation in providing communication services to soldiers was signed in 2007.

A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
