Tatarstan participates in first Moscow international forum “Open innovations”

New discussion platform - first international forum “Open innovations” has opened in Moscow. The forum is aimed at uniting businessmen, state authorities, educational and scientific workers from different countries for discussing main global trends in the sphere of high technologies.

The event is organised by major Russian institutes of development – OAO Rosnano, Skolkovo, OAO RVC, Vnesheconombank, Fund for the Promotion of the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere and Moscow Government under the auspices of the Russian Government.

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) is one of the intellectual partners of the forum “Open innovations”. The Tatarstan Government signed Memorandum of Understanding with CMU this year in September. iCarnegie will be the partner of Tatarstan in the project on establishing the international educational center in Russia. Five thousand IT specialists will study at the educational center.

The Tatarstan delegation participates in the forum. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov attended discussion within the framework of Round table “Regional specific features for innovative business”.

The program of forum includes round tables, panel discussions, and disputes dedicated to various aspects of innovative development of Russia and world community.

The first international exhibition in Russia “Open Innovations Expo” will be held within the confines of the forum.
