Data center of the Kazan IT-park receives international certificate Tier 3
15 October 2012, Monday
The Kazan Data center has become the fifth data processing center to receive in Russia Tier 3 certificate. By the way, two of them were constructed only for needs of the owner and do not offer their facilities for leasing. It is a unique event for Russian regions, IT-park press service informs.
Today Tier has four levels of reliability. The international reliability standard Tier 3 deals with reservation of energy supply. The system enables conducting repair works without stopping operation of the Data center, as long as engineering system was once reserved.
When choosing the data processing center customers pay attention to failure reliability level. Only this factor guarantees that clients’ data will be saved in case of unexpected power cutoff, fire or other emergency situation.
Data center of the Kazan IT-park is the largest data processing center in Volga region with area of 1000 m². It is divided into commercial (750 m²) and government (250 m²) data processing centers.
