Tatarstan and Luxembourg to cooperate in the sphere of high technologies

The Tatarstan-Luxembourg Business Forum has opened in Kazan. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker took part in the opening ceremony.
The Tatarstan President said it is a great privilege for Tatarstan to receive Luxembourg delegation. “We are interested in attracting Luxembourg business and capital to Tatarstan and are willing to expand our business relationships. We hope to find out new joint projects during this visit,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
“We would like to discuss specific business proposals. We need to find new areas of cooperation,” Rustam Minnikhanov addressed to participants of the forum.
He noted as well that Tatarstan offers for foreign investors developed industrial, transport, energy infrastructure, and intellectual potential. “We invite Luxembourg colleagues to participate in modernization of our industrial complex using high technologies available in Luxembourg,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
The Tatarstan President believes that Luxembourg companies can consider the opportunity of locating their production works at SEZ Alabuga.
Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker noted that Tatarstan is one of the most economically developed regions in Russia.
Luxembourg delegation also visited the Kazan IT-park. Tatarstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov told about the project of IT city (Innopolis) meant to be constructed not far from Kazan, and realization of the program “Electronic Tatarstan”.
While visiting business incubator, members of the delegation were told about residents Real Speaker and Eidos. Officials of BARS Group, ICL KPO VS and Startobaza made presentations for Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
