The acceptance of applications for participation in the UMNIK-Sberbank contest under the national programme Digital Economy of the Russian Federation has been launched. The competition is aimed at supporting projects in cross-cutting technologies of the digital economy and contributing to the establishment of a global IT ecosystem.
Students, graduate students, young scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs and employees of high-tech companies aged 18 to 30 years inclusive are invited to participate.
Under the Digital Economy national programme, the competition topics meet cross-cutting technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality technologies, components of robotics and sensors, wireless technologies, quantum technologies and distributed registry systems.
The authors of the best projects will receive a grant amounted to 500,000 roubles for the implementation of their ideas.
Applications are accepted until October 1, 2019.
