First Tatarstan Minister of Communications Rinat Zalyalov celebrates 70th anniversary

On July 10, Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Airat Khairullin congratulated Council Chairman under the Ministry, the First Minister of Communications of Tatarstan Rinat Zalyalov, who headed the Ministry in 1993–2005, on his 70th birthday.

Khairullin handed over the Order of Merit of the Republic of Tatarstan to Zalyalov.

Zalalov was the first minister of the department and during his work in the republic, about 2,000 kilometers of communication lines were built using optical cable, all regions of Tatarstan were provided with long-distance automatic telephone communication (ATS), digitization of area communications was fully completed.
