Unmanned cargo vehicle tested in Innopolis

Staff of the University of Innopolis tested the unmanned flying vehicle in reduced visibility and negative temperatures. The drone delivered the post cargo at a distance of 38 kilometres and returned back for an hour. The vehicle moved at a speed of 65 kilometers per hour and at an altitude of 500 metres.

Staff of the University of Innopolis assures that the drone can easily deliver cargo from the area of the Kazan logistics center of the Post of Russia to the post office of Innopolis and for one flight can overcome this distance four times. In addition to mail cargo, drones can deliver medicines, provisions and any other correspondence to places where there are no roads.
