On November 19, in the IT park of Naberezhnye Chelny, this year’s last selection of startups was completed. The expert jury approved eight projects that can become residents of the Business Incubator.
The International competitions in robotics - World Robot Olympiad 2018 - finished in Thailand this weekend. As many as 48 children from Russia, including 11 from Tatarstan, took part in it. They represented the Lyceum of Innopolis, the Naberezhnye Chelny Centre for Children's Technical Creativity and the Laboratory of Robotics and Industrial Design from Kazan. The University of Innopolis trained the Russian participants for the world championship.
On November 16, in Shenzhen (China), Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaykhutdinov, as a member of Tatarstan delegation visited the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), dedicated to the development, innovation and integration of high-tech industries.
The delegation got acquainted with new gadgets with flexible screens, augmented reality technology, electric vehicles, high-tech simulators for people with disabilities.
On November 16, in Thailand, the World Robot Olympiad, where over 60 countries will compete for medals in the “Primary”, “Creative”, “Student” categories and in the “Football of Robots”. As many as 48 participants, including 11 from Tatarstan, represent Russian team at the contest.
Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communications informs the citizens of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Leninogorsk, Bolshie Polyanki and Shemordan that the maintenance works will be carried out on November 19.
On November 16, in Shenzhen (China), Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaykhutdinov and Vice-President of the Huawei for global cooperation Zhou Weihua signed a memorandum on cooperation between the Ministry and the Huawei.
On November 15, First Deputy Minister of Informatization and Communication of the republic Dmitry Vandyukov, Mayor of the city of Innopolis Ruslan Shagaleev and director of the network of ArtKids private kindergartens Artem Krasnov took part in the opening ceremony of a new private kindergarten of this branch, established for 60 children, the ages of 1.5 to 5 years old.

On November 14, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov together with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the city of Innopolis, where they got acquainted with the Popov Technopark, the University of Innopolis, a sports complex, an IT-lyceum and a kindergarten.
From November, 14 to December, 7, Tatarstan will host the regional championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia), where over 2,000 contestants and experts will take part. Competitions will be held in 83 WorldSkills competencies and 53 WorldSkills Juniors competencies at 38 venues in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Bugulma and other cities.
