Over 192,000 Tatarstan schoolchildren took part in the large-scale All-Russian action “Lesson of Digit", held in the country from February 25 to March 8. During these lessons, students of 1-11 got acquainted with artificial intelligence and machine learning.

On March 30, IT-lyceum of Kazan Federal University will hold the Open Day, where guests can get acquainted with the lyceum, its teachers and prospects offered to students.

Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park” together with Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication and Ministry of Education and Science of the republic launches a regional programme for the development of digital entrepreneurship competencies for young people.

On March 7, at the Interregional Competence Center - the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov handed in diploma with honors to graduates of the Telecommunications department, which includes the group of specialties, in particular, Radio communication, broadcasting and television, Communication networks and switching systems, Multichannel telecommunication systems and Communication networks with moving facilities.

On February 28, the technopark in the sphere of high technologies IT park hosted a business breakfast for partners and residents, which discussed its renovation project, timed to its upcoming 10th anniversary.

Innopolis, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Vitebsk (the Republic of Belarus) hosted the final competition of young programmers. As many as 174 pupils of 7-11 grades from Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, South Korea, Belgium, Hungary, Serbia, Hong Kong, Israel, Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and 21 regions of Russia fought for the victory.

KAMAZ Automaker intends to use the digital time-saving system to manage production and personnel of iLean PRO, the development of a resident of the Chelny IT park. Pilot implementation of the programme will start in one of the workshops of the plant in March.

iLean PRO is an application which helps to improve the planning and coordination of work in the enterprise.

Training courses for volunteers who help citizens to connect digital TV are held in Tatarstan. To date, over 400 volunteers were trained in the republic.

State Archive-Keeping Committee of Tatarstan holds a contest among the archives of commercial and non-profit organizations of the republic. The total prize fund of the contest amounts to 4.5 million roubles.

Training courses for volunteers on the configuration and installation of user equipment for receiving digital television started in Tatarstan in mid-February.
