Children’s technopark «Quantorium» in Naberezhnyy Chelny together with «Association of 3D education» of Saint-Petersburg held the regional qualifying stage of the 7th open All-Russian Olympiad in 3D technologies. The event took place under the development of the project «Engineers of the Future: 3D Technologies in Education».

On February 4, IT Park hosted a Lesson of Digit dedicated to the study of cyberattacks. As many as 18 students of gymnasium 10 of the Aviastroitelnyi District of Kazan took part in it. Deputy Minister of Digitalization of the republic Albert Yakovlev and Director of IT-Park Alexander Borisov delivered welcomed the schoolchildren.

Schoolchildren and students from 14 to 22 inclusive can now pay by the Pushkin Card for cinema tickets.

In November 2021, the Russian Ministry of Digital Development launched a new mechanism to support small and medium-sized businesses: companies can purchase Russian software at half of the price by compensating manufacturers for 50 per cent of the cost of the license.

In 2022, Kazan Digital Week is planned to be held from September 21 to 24 in a mixed format: online and offline. The Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre will be a venue for face-to-face events. As many as 150 programme events with participation of about 15,000 people are planned.

Russian Ministry of Digital Development together with the main IT associations and associations of the IT industry (RUSSOFT, RAEC, APKIT, etc.) analyzed the international regulation of cryptocurrency and its impact on the development of the software and cloud technology industry.

The Ministry supports and shares the need to respond to the risks associated with the use of cryptocurrency to finance illegal activities and financial pyramids, as well as the risks associated with fraud in this area. However, the blockchain industry used for the production and circulation of cryptocurrency is one of the fastest growing in the software industry. Many successful international projects in cryptocurrency have Russian roots. And the power of blockchain technology itself is much wider - switching to smart contracts and many others.

On January 28, speaking at a press conference on the results of a government meeting held last Wednesday, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin informed that as many as 114 industry events will be held in Tatarstan in 2022.

“Our task in 2022 is to popularize and promote the IT industry,” the Minister emphasized.
