Over 150 programmes approved for implementation in "digital departments”

Taking into account the recommendations of leading IT and industry experts, industry working groups approved over 150 programmes from 65 universities. The remaining 350 programmes will be considered at the next meetings.

After the completion of the programmes, they can be implemented at «digital departments» under the federal project «Development of IT industry personnel potential» of the national programme «Digital Economy of the Russian Federation».

Five face-to-face and online meetings were held in the following industries:

• "Healthcare";

• "Information and communication technologies";

• "Manufacturing industry";

• "Extractive industry";

• "Information and communication technologies";

• "Energy Infrastructure";

• Art and Culture;

• "Transport infrastructure";

• "Financial services".

The experts recommended educational teams to expand the set of digital competencies, strengthen practical training, use network technologies and block integration in import substitution and cybersecurity, and not be limited to a narrow circle of studying domestic or foreign software.
