On August 28, in the city of Innopolis, Tatarstan Government and Yandex Company, with participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov and Director General of Yandex Company in Russia Elena Bunina signed an agreement on development autonomous transport in the republic, which envisages the establishment of test zone for traffic in the city of Innopolis.
On August 27, at the Interregional centre of competence - the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications with the assistance of the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia), the National Training Foundation, the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the republic, Regional Ministry Education and Science, the opening of the enlarged meeting of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in the system of secondary vocational education on the enlarged group of specialties "Informatics and computer technology" was held in Kazan.

Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Natalia Kropotova and Director of the Technopark in the Sphere of High Technology “IT Park” Anton Grachev signed an agreement on cooperation. Schoolchildren of seven-eleven grades will start to learn entrepreneurial activity in the new academic year.
On August 24, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone.
The Board considered and approved applications of ten companies for implementation of technical and innovative activities with a total investment of 181.1 million roubles.
On August 23, a newly appointed by the decision of the Board of Directors, Director General of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone Renat Azatovich Khalimov was introduced to its staff.
The annual regional contest “Living language – living nation” is held by the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of Tatarstan and the Tatmedia Regional Press and Mass Communications Agency under the State Programme “Preservation, study and development of state languages of Tatarstan and other languages in the republic for 2014-2020”.
