The popularity of online payment for services is constantly growing among the population.

Since the beginning of the year, the Portal of State Services of the republic and the application “Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” have accepted over 750,000 payments for a kindergarten which is 34 per cent more as compared to the same period last year.

There are about 300,000 people with disabilities in Tatarstan. They face a wide variety of barriers in daily life, while using vehicles, traveling on sidewalks, visiting medical institutions. The people’s Inspector mobile application is developed to help in solving the issues of environment accessibility for the people with impaired mobility.

NETBYNET (a subsidiary of Megafon Telecommunication Company) launched a pilot project of free Wi-Fi Internet access on seven land transportation routes in Kazan. As many as 50 vehicles are equipped with the test devices, which run on city routes № 1, 5, 18, 22, 30, 45, 60. 

The republic continues completing the pre-school educational institutions of the republic with children for 2018-2019. According to the e-kindergarten information system, as many as 34,000 children have been allocated to kindergartens. Mass completing will last till August,31.

The work on the transfer of suspended communication lines and air-cable transitions to underground communications, aimed at improving the reliability of communications, ensuring the physical safety of wires, protecting information, improving the appearance of streets and, as a result, convenience of citizens of the republic is continued in Tatarstan.

On June 16, in the Innopolis Special Economic Zone, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Board Member of Schneider Electric Emmanuel Babeau took part in the opening of the Schneider Electric Innovation R&D Centre.

On June 22-24, at the University of Innopolis, All-Russian Robotics Olympiad 2018 will be held. It will gather 600 young roboticist from 60 regions of the Russian Federation. Participants from Tatarstan will compete in "Football of robots", "Creative", "Basic", "Student", "Flying" and "Manipulation Intelligent Robotic Systems" categories.

On June 15, The Higher School of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of the Kazan Federal University (ITIS) will hold Open Day. Two events will be held for those who plan to study in the field of IT.

The Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the republic has developed a project on personalized notification of users of the Portal of State Services and the mobile application “Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” about upcoming events in the city and the republic. Users will receive useful notifications from the targeted mailings.

On June 13, during his working visit to Kazan, Head of the Trade Council of Denmark in Russia, Minister Counsellor Commercial Affairs Thomas Mortensen visited the technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT Park”, where he got acquainted with the innovative infrastructure of Tatarstan.
