On August 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Savva Shipov visited a new multifunctional centre of the republic in Kazan.
There are 50 windows for receiving and issuing documents, comfortable waiting areas, children's play area and a consulting area.
The room and the area are adapted under the "accessible environment" programme and equipped with all elements necessary for citizens with special needs. A total of 120 kinds of state and municipal services are available in the centre. The office is opened seven days per week.
Minnikhanov look around the centre, got acquainted with the new types of services and also talked to visitors.
Prime-Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov told the guests about the improvement of the automated departmental information system of the multifunctional centres of the republic.
Answering the journalists’ questions, Shipov noted that the new centre in Kazan is one of the largest and meets all established standards for multifunctional centres.
He also emphasized that information technologies are widely used in Tatarstan multifunctional centres.
