Tatarstan has completed the construction of a network of digital TV broadcasting. It will completely replace analog television in January 2019. 

According to Hi-Tech publication, the LuxAI company, established by specialists from the University of Luxembourg, introduced the robot QTrobot. The device will be able to collect data on the development of children with autism spectrum disorder and transfer this information to doctors.

On August 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov signed an order №262, appointing curators and executors responsible for implementation of national and federal projects in 12 areas, including demography, health, education, science and others in Tatarstan. Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov is responsible for the project on development of the digital economy in Tatarstan.

Tatarstan citizens actively use People's Inspector mobile application, which was developed by Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the republic to reduce a number of road accidents. 

The winners of the sixth National Championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia), which was held from August 8 to August 12 and gathered 700 young professionals at the age of 14 to 25 years from all over the country, were announced in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

On August 10, the University of Innopolis and Almaty region of Kazakhstan signed an agreement on cooperation. The parties agreed to develop the scientific and educational environments.

Selection of interesting and promising IT start-ups that can become residents of the local business incubator - the largest business venue in Russia is held in the Kazan IT park. The status of a resident of an incubator gives several advantages: at least, a workplace in a modern office on preferential terms and communicating with like-minded people, as a maximum - acquaintance with potential investors.
