Young entrepreneurs from OIC countries present IT projects

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with participants of the III Kazan forum of young entrepreneurs from OIC countries that was held during the 9th International economic summit “Russia-the Islamic world: KazanSummit 2017». Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov took part in the event.
The investment session of 11 IT startup projects that had passed acceleration programme and preliminary pitching session was held during the meeting. Authors of the projects representing Tunis, Nigeria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Palestine and Russia presented new solutions in the sphere of online education, high-tech medicine, transport and agriculture.

On November 27, "Technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT Park" and Globus IT, a leading Russian integrator, signed a strategic agreement to establish a joint laboratory for training IT specialists, focused on building project teams for specific business needs. Director of "IT Park" Ruslan Vlasov and CEO of Globus IT Pavel Korotkiy with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, represented by Deputy Minister of Digitalization of the republic Bulat Gabdrakhmanov signed the document, which lays the foundation for a fundamentally new approach to technology education.
