Best projects presented at Startup Weekend to receive $10 000

A three-day working session of IT-projects “Startup Weekend” starts today in Innovative technopark “Idea”.
Startup Weekend is one of events dedicated to development of business projects by young entrepreneurs. It will last for three days and will be a preliminary stage of selecting projects for placement in recently opened Business incubator of technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park”. The best projects will receive invitation for expert selection held in June 2011.
Startup Weekend is organized by Youth business club “Navigator”, holding “Glavstart” and R2Advisory, general partners - Innovative technopark “Idea”.
Within the limits of Startup Weekend authors of projects will get opportunity to realize their ideas as prototype with considered business plans with the help of experts in the sphere of information technologies and business from Tatarstan and Russian regions who can mentor projects in future.
Projects regardless of experience, presence of team, investors or developed business plan are invited to take part in Startup Weekend. Best projects presented at the event will receive $10 000 from managing partner «Startobaza» and holding “Glavstart”.
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
