More than 800 enterprises in Tatarstan use national security information

March, 24. Regional seminar «Organization of works on counteracting foreign technical intelligence and technical protection of information in state authorities and bodies of local governments, at enterprises and organizations. Issues of export control» was held in Technopark in sphere of high technologies IT-park (Kazan).
The event was attended by Head of Department of Federal Service for technical and export control on Volga federal district Aleksandr Martynov, Deputy prime minister – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Deputy Head of Dept. of RF federal security service on RT Oleg Nazarov, and about 400 specialists in the sphere of information security and IT-technologies, officials of state authorities and republican regions, various organizations engaged in personal data processing - banks, insurance companies, health care institutions.
Opening plenary part of sessions Nikolai Nikiforov noted that according to implementation of considerable number of information systems issue of personal data protection is becoming more urgent.
In accordance with Federal law № 210-ФЗ dated as of 27.07.2010 “On organization of rendering state and municipal services” from July,1,2011 all personal data located in institutions rendering state services will be transferred in electronic format.
Speaking about information security in the sphere of health care Nikolai Nikiforov noted that medical info systems should be formed in accordance with a single information security standard for efficient and secure interaction. By his words 150 health care institutions in republic are in need of information security systems.
Universiade-2013 in Kazan is another priority for Tatarstan. Thus, a unified ICT infrastructure is being created for all institutions which participate in preparation and holding Universiade. One of the key tasks for republic in terms of information security of the event is to avoid failures in work of ICT systems while holding Universiade.
Deputy Head of Dept. of RF federal security service on RT Oleg Nazarov informed that more than 800 enterprises in Tatarstan use national security information. These data are attractive for foreign technical intelligence. Regular revisions show that very often enterprises and organizations use less protected communication channels and unprotected software. The financing level of info security measures is also insufficient.
Nikolai Nikiforov defined main objectives for current year – unification of information security systems, elaboration of unified information security requirements for development and creation of info systems.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
