Investments into the sector of info and communications made 4,88 bln. roubles in 2010

Gross income of info and communications enterprises in RT increased by 23,6 % and made 35,5 bln. roubles in 2010. Such data were given by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov at the ministry’s board session. Investments into the sector have made 4,88 bln. roubles in 2010. Main investments were made into development of infrastructure and adoption of info-communication technologies and informatization.
By words of the minister, unprecedented decisions on financing separate perspective areas in the sphere of information technologies were made in 2010. Total budget for IT-projects has increased considerably. The largest part of the budget was allocated for realization of project on providing schools with computer equipment within the limits of project “Electronic education”.
Nikolai Nikiforov also said that within the frameworks of project “Electronic health care” 100 % of expensive diagnostic equipment was connected to central archive of medical images. A unified info system was adopted in all 90 health care institutions rendering oncological aid.
Under realization of project “GLONASS+112” out of 420 departments of on-duty control services of fire prevention, militia, ambulance, rescuers of republic 282 were equipped with computer equipment.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
